Meet AJ Carangelo D.D.S

Since opening our doors 37 years ago, we have grown our practice one patient at a time through deep relationships and state of-the-art dental services along with the best standard of care for the residents of our community and surrounding area. I’m pleased to announce that we will soon welcome Dr. AJ Carangelo to join our practice as an associate in June/July.

Dr. Carangelo was raised in Troutman, NC and is an alumni of UNC-Chapel Hill (BA Economics), as well as the UNC School of Dentistry. After searching for a couple of years, I am confident we have the ideal fit for our practice. AJ is extremely personable and has a skill set that will bring a new mix of services including implant placement, extractions, selected wisdom tooth removal, and some endodontic (root canal) treatment. Dr. Carangelo was just selected as the winner of the 2022 International Congress of Oral Implantologists Pre-Doctoral Student Achievement Award, and was recently selected as the 2022 student of the semester. Outside of his passion for excellence in dentistry, his interests include hunting, fishing, working out, guitar, cars, and being a huge UNC sports fan.

With Dr. Carangelo and I working together, our office will be able to expand our access to care, and we plan to be open on Fridays as well. I look forward to working with Dr Carangelo for several years. Sharing these changes has brought much enthusiasm to our team of professionals, and we hope you will celebrate with us. We plan on continuing our mission of providing excellence in dentistry with a Christian heart. We are grateful and honored by your choice and will always do our best to exceed your dental care expectations. We look forward to seeing you soon!
