Brenda Wallace

Brenda is likely the first person you will meet when you contact our office . She has been in dentistry 33 years and with Dr Burgiss for 30 years. As the office manager, Brenda answers the phone, handles dental insurance, schedules appointments, and handles financial arrangements. She resides in Union Grove along with her 4 dogs, many chickens, and a cat. Brenda is actively involved with her church, A Light in the Darkness. She enjoys spending time with her family and church family.

Kim Gregory

Kim is a full time hygienist, and has been with Dr. Burgiss since 2005. Kim graduated from Wilkes Community College as a dental assistant and Catawba Valley Community College as a dental hygienist. Kim has 22 years of experience, 20 of them as a dental hygienist and 15 with Dr. Burgiss.

Kim and her husband Brandon have two daughters, Timber, age 9, and Brinley, age 7, and live in Union Grove along with 6 dogs and 5 cats. Kim and her family attend Union Grove Christian Church. Kim’s interests are spending time with family and friends, volunteering at school, watching her kids dance and play sports, kayaking, riding four wheelers, and projects around the house.

Traci Gaither

Traci is a full time certified dental assistant and has been in dentistry 23 years. She loves helping patients feel comfortable while obtaining their dental needs. Traci and her husband, Brian, live in Statesville with their 2 sons, Kyle and Cade, as well as their dog, Millie. Traci and her family as members of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She enjoys watching and driving her boys to all sporting events (wrestling, football, and baseball). Traci and her family love music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Kim Shepherd

Kim is a full-time dental hygienist. She attended Guilford Technical Community College and has 20 years of experience. She prides herself on listening to her patient’s needs and being thorough but gentle.

Kim lives in Wilkes County and is married to her high school sweetheart, Eric. They have two children, Elizabeth and Eli. When they are not busy taking them to volleyball, football, basketball, baseball or softball they enjoy hiking, kayaking and traveling. They are also very involved in their church, Little Mountain Baptist, where they both teach Sunday School.

Lisa Dowell

Lisa is a full time certified dental assistant, and has been with Dr. Burgiss for 22 years. Lisa is awesome in making patients feel very comfortable. Lisa lives in Yadkinville, with her husband, Rhyne. Her daughter, Andrea married Preston Smith in 2017, and is currently the Career Development Coordinator for Wilkes County Schools. Lisa and Rhyne are blessed with their first grandchild, Mary Evelyn.

Rhyne and Lisa are members at Union Grove Baptist Church in Yadkinville. Lisa enjoys family time, traveling, music, church work, gardening, and cooking.
